What this page covers
This policy covers this marketing site only. It does not cover a Switchyard instance you run yourself — that deployment is yours, and we neither operate nor receive data from it.
The waiting list
If you submit the waiting-list form, we collect the email address you enter and nothing else. It is stored by Brevo, our email provider, acting as our processor on our behalf.
We use it for one purpose: to email you when Switchyard becomes available. We do not sell it, share it for anyone else's marketing, or add you to a newsletter.
The lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email we send, or by contacting us at the address below, and we will delete your record.
Your IP address
When you submit the form, your IP address is held briefly in server memory to rate-limit repeated submissions. It is not written to a database, not written to a log, and does not survive a restart. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the form.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics that tell us how the site is used — which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from.
Analytics is off until you accept it. Until you choose, analytics storage is denied by default and no analytics cookie is set. Declining leaves it denied. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only, and is never sent to us.
Advertising storage and personalisation are denied in every case, whatever you choose. We do not run advertising on this site.
You can change your mind at any time:
Who we share it with
Brevo, for storing the waiting list and sending the eventual announcement. Google, for analytics, and only once you have accepted. Neither receives anything else from this site.
How long we keep it
Waiting-list addresses are kept until Switchyard launches and the announcement has been sent, or until you ask us to delete yours — whichever comes first.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within one month.
